Those far of lands in ancient times
when they worshipped gods, all kinds long dry watercourses filled with rain the sacred lotus bloomed again. An Egyptian symbol of eternal life giving hope when disease was rife personified, adored, controlling light a hiding place for Ra at night. Made more mysterious by their routine all morning flowers remain unseen their beauty revealed around noon a lovely sight on a sunny afternoon. As evening approaches they close again and sink into their watery domain on overcast days not showing at all without sun a cheerless pall. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ksWyGRm7oNg |
