The Rook doesn’t like humans much
years ago rook pies and such.
Much prefers the countryside
builds in groups not one to hide.

They're very attentive to their nests
in winter, inspections, tests.
Near farms and farmland large rookeries
in tall trees you'll find communities.

Roosting time they leave the skies
settling with jackdaws, crows, magpies.
It seems a very sociable bird
