The sixth of ten Friedrich was born,
Opened his eyes to a Pomerenian morn,
Mother died when he was seven,
Brother, sisters, an early heaven.
Friedrich watched his brother drowned,
The ice broke all around,
Johannes death broke his heart,
Depressed, lost, he turned to art.
Materialism on the way out,
Spirituality was coming about,
Its the things I'll never do I love the most,
He must have been completely engrossed.
